Diversifying into Finance
60Drabdesign a UK based Search Engine Optimization Company who specialise in the Travel industry creating numerous cruise and vacation websites for clients have diversified into Finance.
The reason being they are aware that with the downturn in the economy diversification is a necessity rather than a planned option.
Drabdesign are used to dealing with large numbers after all how much do cruise ships cost these days, well hundreds of millions of dollars and are financed via loans. This means that finance is a relevant feature of cruising and so perhaps an obvious way forward for a company like Drabdesign?
Personally I would like to see more companies try new things after all if you do not try new things how do you know if you are any good at them? Will Drabdesign be a success or not? I guess only time will tell. However how much time will they have to do this? I guess that will be down to their bank manager and shareholders.
Since writing this hub, the world has slipped into recession and now, more than ever, companies need to be looking at ways to make more money. Drabdesign for instance have now created a local business directory that under cuts the opposition. Perhaps this is the way forward?
